Fiat is great at making small cars, so when it revealed the 500 concept a few years back it was a certainty that it'd reach production. It has, and you can now walk into a Fiat showroom and drive away with one, in theory at least. The 500's been a popular seller, so it's already boasting an order book that'll keep Fiat dealers busy for months to come - so if you've not got one on order you might be in for a wait. Recreating the cheeky looks of the original from 1957, the 500 looks sensational inside and out.
Its retro looks clothe a Panda underneath, but that's no issue as the Panda is an enjoyable car to drive. Even more so as the 500, its curvy lines and cheeky face ensuring everywhere you go you'll be noticed and greeted with smiles. Feel-good motoring for the masses, the 500 starts at under £8,000, but start adding those oh-so-tempting options and you'll end up paying a lot more.
